Dr Hamadan, born in 1949, received his B.A. in Social Sciences from the Lebanese University in 1972, his M.A. from the same university in 1973 and continued his higher education at Nanterre University-Paris, France-1977 where he received his Ph.D. in Social Development in 1979.
He joined the Lebanese University, Institute of Social Science in 1977
He has worked as a consultant for various national and international agencies including the European Union – Foundation LAPAZ Spain, UNDP, Arab League-Arab Family Organization, Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs, Lebanese Ministry of Interior, and LPHU- Lebanese Physically Handicaped Union among others.
