Project Title: "Assessment of the Syrian Refugees in Lebanon: Employment Profile and Implications on the Labour Markets". The project is commissioned by the International Labor Organization (ILO). Assisted in the design of the household questionnaire, administered questionnaires in the Wadi Khaled area to Syrian refugees, and observed Focus group session with the Lebanese businessmen in the Akkar.

2005-2012: Surveyor and Researcher, University of Poitiers (Migrinter), France and the Lebanese University, Lebanon: “The New Migrants in Lebanon: toward an Ethnicisation on the Labor Market”, Doctoral Research: Conducted field survey and face-to-face interviews with migrant laborers from Sri Lanka, the Philippines, India, Ethiopia and Syria among others. Conducted expert interviews with stakeholders and in-depth interviews with migrant laborers. Coded the questionnaire, keyed in the data in SPSS, validated the data, generate and analyzed the data, and wrote the results.

 

2004-2005: Surveyor and Researcher, University of Poitiers (Migrinter), France: “Immigration in Lebanon: the Indian Migrant Workers a Case Study”. Designed the project, reviewed the literature, administered the questionnaires and the interviews, and wrote the report.
